Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience or a minimum of high school diploma and 10 years previous manufacturing experience
• At least 3 years of experience in an GMP regulated facility
• At least 3 years of leadership experience
• However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that assignments are completed on schedule following established policies and procedures.
• Guide and direct staff in production areas as directed by Supervisor.
• Monitor production output and quality of work on the line.
• Monitor and ensure proper equipment operation and all safety rules and guidelines are followed.
• Monitor work areas, ensuring appropriate cleanliness and orderly condition.
• Works in collaboration with the Lead/Technical Operator to troubleshoot process and technical line issues.
• Coordinates and oversees the work of other operators and acts as a backup to Supervisor as necessary.
• Perform training of new personnel in Production operations as necessary.
• Perform final Production review of Batch Production Records prior to Quality review/approval as necessary.
• Provides input into events or investigations including identifying potential root causes and corrective and preventative actions.
• Recommends and/or initiates procedural revisions and corresponding training modules.
• Collaborates with Supervisor, QA and Production Support on unscripted manufacturing events to assure impact on quality is evaluated and minimized.
• Collaborate with Supervisor and/or Manager to appropriately staff lines or shift personnel where necessary to meet schedule.
• Ensure all products produced or returned to inventory are properly labeled and monitor inventories.
