About The Position

With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,900 people worldwide. We are currently searching for Team Leader to join our team at our Holmesville Plant in Holmesville, OH. What you will do: Efficiently, fairly, and respectfully deploy associates within area of responsibility. Ensure correct manning in place to support production needs while supporting plant financial goals. Effectively communication with the Team Leaders on all shifts. This activity may include a shift hand off in the absence of primary supervisor. This shift hand off should include housekeeping walk, explanation of any Quality concerns, and feedback of any significant downtime events. Working knowledge of the production associate’s Job Description and duties including all work instructions. Record and data input of necessary daily production and scrap records. Ensure all documents are submitted to appropriate departments at shift end. Direct associates to ensure QA standards are met and QA procedures are followed. Direct associates in continous improvement activites and scrap reduction. Direct associates to ensure safety and OSHA standards are met within area of responsibility and conducts the proper safety training. Direct associates within area of responsibility to maintain equipment and standards of housekeeping (5S). Areas should maintain 5S consistently throughout the shift and must be accepted by on coming shift hand off prior to release of shift. Direct associates to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, production work, break schedules, and start/stop times. Execution of inventory of materials in area of responsibility for daily shipments and the month end materials inventory process. Responsible for advising the Shift Manager of any deficiencies that may exist in the above referenced areas such that the Shift Manager may follow up with corrective or disciplinary action. Act as a participant in the corrective or disciplinary process as directed by the Shift manager. Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Prefer High School Diploma or GED
  • Entry – 3 years
  • Ability to perform responsibilities under general supervision
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Able to perform job requirements
  • Verbal and written communication skills
