Requirements

  • Minimum 1-year experience (for Team Lead I)
  • Minimum 2-year experience (for Team Lead II and III)
  • TLDP Graduate (for Team Lead III)
  • Proficiency with Data Stream, NCMS, BBS
  • Crane Certified (for Team Lead I)
  • Knowledge of schedules and MDI board
  • Some knowledge of Excel and Word
  • PIV Certifications

Responsibilities

  • Direct employees and materials
  • Think critically, problem solve issues on the line, and escalate as needed
  • Train on safety, company policy, scheduling, overtime, standard work, and NCMS
  • Train on communication, MDI Board, LGS, and leadership skills
  • Manage inventory, delegate tasks, and plan operations
  • Provide tactful communication to peers and leaders
  • Ensure accuracy, demonstrate self-starter initiative, and maintain organization
  • Implement and maintain 9 steps, NCMS, BBS, MDI Board, 5s, TPM, and run GEMBA/LGS
  • Write or re-write standard work, conduct standard of work audits, and drive continuous improvement
  • Drive safety culture and be responsible for safety in the zone
  • Train with Work Group Manager (WGM) to provide coverage when WGM is not present
  • Manage line schedules, overtime, and personnel training/schedules
  • Document misses on paramo use, apply 5 Why analysis to reduce future occurrences
  • Conduct Safety Audits
  • Work with WGM to achieve Plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
