About The Position
THE TEAM LEADER WORKS TO ENSURE THAT PROPER PRODUCTION PROCEDURES ARE FOLLOWED WHILE MAINTAINING COMPANY SANITATION AND EFFICIENCY STANDARDS. OVERALL, LEADERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DIRECTING THE ACTIVITIES OF THE LINE CREW AND FOSTERING A TEAM-ORIENTED ENVIRONMENT. MAINTAIN INVENTORIES AND MINIMIZING WASTE, WHILE MONITORING PRODUCTION QUALITY STANDARDS. TRAIN NEW EMPLOYEES ON PROCESSES AND PROCEDURES. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO COMMUNICATING STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS, ACCURATE PRODUCTION REPORTING PROCEDURES, ASSIGNING PERSONNEL TO TEAMS AND TASKS, ACCURATE AND TIMELY RECORD TIME KEEPING AND DOCUMENTATION OF EMPLOYEE ACTIVITIES.
Requirements
- Performing physical activities that require standing for long periods of time
- Considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, and handling of materials and lifting up to 30 lbs.
- This position is required to withstand a production environment with exposure to dust, food allergens, and varying temperatures.
- Highly dependable and able to work a flexible schedule with varying job duties
- Providing honest and respectful communication to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.
