Overview Supports and guides nursing staff in daily operations. Assumes responsibility for the unit in absence of unit Manager. Responsibilities PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(Essential Functions) Monitors and maintains unit for regulatory compliance at all times, including such items as staffing levels, chart audits, environment of care, etc. Assume patient care duties as needed. Assists the manager by monitoring Kronos, adjusting schedules, editing timecards and assuming other duties of the Manager as needed. Ensures patient satisfaction by rounding on patients and monitoring patient satisfaction scores. Provides clinical oversight to assigned patient population to include staff's competency and assignments and scheduling training and development events.
