Then we have an opportunity for you! We currently have an opportunity for a Team Leader at our manufacturing facility in South Boston, VA. Responsibilities Your Role: As a Team Leader, you will lead the team and be primarily responsible for restoring interrupted process flow and creating and implementing standardized work procedures. Solve or help troubleshoot problems to root cause. Create, maintain and update all standardized work procedures. Coach and teach employees in the area to standardized work / Pay for Skills expectations to ensure their progression in skills. Lead continuous improvement methods. Consistently and effectively communicate our commitment to providing a safe workplace using SWPs, IFEs, and completing accident investigations. Accountable for implementing the Reynolds Business System (RBS) activities (standard work, 5s, visual management, problem-solving A3s and kaizen activities) within work team. Lead in team activities related to safety, quality and productivity. Help in making decisions for putting product on hold. Accountable for all paperwork being mistake free and legible prior to turning in to shift leader. Responsible for maintaining product gauge and weight specifications and entering results in database. Accountable for machine run conditions to include running machines at target speeds. Requirements

  • Ability to lead people (coach).
  • Ability to work with people.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledgeable of basic extrusion and converting process.
  • Basic knowledge of various tools.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
  • Demonstrated good written and oral communication.
