Team Leader
About The Position
Responsible for providing support for operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner. Organizational Relationship: This position will report to the department Supervisor. Key Accountabilities Support the activities and personnel engaged in manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift. Identify inefficiencies in the production process and work with the department supervisor to overcome and improve them Communicate and collaborate with various departments across campus to meet production needs Interpret, apply, and/or consistently enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules. Help the team achieve departmental goals for safety, quality, and productivity. Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions. Update communication boards and manage delinquent/backorder lists as needed Fill in for open positions as required All other duties as assigned. Requirements
- Strong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills required; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Must have strong attendance record and be seen as reliable
