About The Position

Team Lead – Forklift Operations Radcliff, KY Starting Pay: 17.25 an hour Job Overview Bluegrass Supply Chain is seeking a Team Lead – Forklift Operations to oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities while leading a team of forklift operators. This hands-on leadership role focuses on maintaining safe, efficient, and productive operations while mentoring team members and ensuring company standards are met. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, attention to safety, and the ability to support warehouse operations while maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment. Responsibility & Authority The Team Lead plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations and setting a positive example for team members. This role ensures the team follows Bluegrass Supply Chain’s mission, vision, and values, maintains safety standards, and meets production goals while fostering strong relationships and accountability within the team.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of forklift operating experience.
At least 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Ability to lift 50–75 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working in warehouse environments that may not be climate-controlled.
Effective communication skills and ability to motivate team members.
Experience with inventory management systems or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Lead and support daily warehouse operations and forklift activities.
Supervise and direct forklift operators to meet productivity and operational goals.
Safely operate forklifts to move and stack lightweight cans and other materials.
Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and company standards.
Conduct daily equipment inspections and monitor maintenance schedules.
Train, mentor, and certify forklift operators and warehouse team members.
Provide constructive feedback and support employee development.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with time and attendance monitoring.
Ensure trailers and equipment are safe before loading and unloading.
Maintain accurate inventory tracking and shipping documentation.
Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and warehouse staff.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and enforce 5S standards.
Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
