We are currently recruiting for the position of Team Leader. 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
Basic PC skills (data entry, EXCEL spreadsheets).
Strong communication skills (written, oral and penmanship).
Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
Previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Competency with technical skills associated with materials and inventory management.
Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Responsibilities

Inbound responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading, transporting and put-away of product to include the assignment of trucks to doors.
Outbound responsibilities include the picking, transporting, and loading of product to include sealing of trailers and proper staging of outbound loads.
Provides leadership and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development of employees.
Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are addressed and communicated to the management.
Provides Shift Supervisor with feedback on employee performance for evaluations; provides continual feedback of both positive and negative performance.
Assists the Shift Supervise with identifying and resolving process or procedural issues to improve productivity and expedite workflow.
Assists the warehouse employees with resolving work/process problems.
Examine and monitor warehouse employees work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to quality standards, common practices, and procedures.
Exhibits safe behaviors and promotes safe work practices with employees.
Participates in special projects as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
