We are currently recruiting for the position of Team Leader. 7:30am - 3:30pm Monday - Friday $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic PC skills (data entry, EXCEL spreadsheets).
  • Strong communication skills (written, oral and penmanship).
  • Ability to frequently lift 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
  • Previously demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Competency with technical skills associated with materials and inventory management.
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.

Responsibilities

  • Inbound responsibilities include ensuring the proper unloading, transporting and put-away of product to include the assignment of trucks to doors.
  • Outbound responsibilities include the picking, transporting, and loading of product to include sealing of trailers and proper staging of outbound loads.
  • Provides leadership and fosters positive employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development of employees.
  • Ensures any maintenance or repair issues for the building facilities, vehicles and equipment are addressed and communicated to the management.
  • Provides Shift Supervisor with feedback on employee performance for evaluations; provides continual feedback of both positive and negative performance.
  • Assists the Shift Supervise with identifying and resolving process or procedural issues to improve productivity and expedite workflow.
  • Assists the warehouse employees with resolving work/process problems.
  • Examine and monitor warehouse employees work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to quality standards, common practices, and procedures.
  • Exhibits safe behaviors and promotes safe work practices with employees.
  • Participates in special projects as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
