About The Position

Loop Neighborhood Market, based in Union City, Calif., was founded in 1978 and operates stores and stations across California, including gas stations with convenience stores and car washes, and a wholesale fuel division. The company aims to redefine the convenience store experience by offering high-quality, better-for-you products and exceptional customer service. The Team Leader position is for individuals skilled in both customer assistance and team leadership. This role involves managing all aspects of store operations, with training provided on the company's in-store retail information system, inventory management, and ordering technology. Key responsibilities include handling daily paperwork, troubleshooting car wash and gas pump issues, forecasting, ordering, stocking, merchandising products, reconciling store paperwork, ensuring courteous customer service, and managing store staff. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Six to nine months’ experience as an assistant manager, manager, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong mathematics ability
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Desire to be part of a performance-driven team
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Reliable form of transportation to and from the workplace and off-site training
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Must be able to work various shifts and days of the week depending on business needs

Responsibilities

• Train and coach new staff, manage performance, and handle staffing needs
• Create schedules, track time, and ensure accurate store paperwork reconciliation
• Stock products, maintain store cleanliness, and manage product merchandising
• Forecast, order, and control inventory, with a focus on shrinkage control
• Track and manage operating expenses to ensure profitability
• Develop a sales-driven culture using data analysis, goal setting, and in-store operating profit management
• Ensure efficient, courteous customer service for customers, vendors, and staff
• Troubleshoot and resolve car wash and gas-related issues
• Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and budget requirements
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment inside and outside the store
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Employees that are with us for 5+ years = 0.40 cents off a gallon of fuel
• MAXIMUM 20 GALLONS AND 2 FILL UPS PER WEEK
