About The Position

Team Leader acts as an extension to management in their assigned zones by providing direct support to associates. Club Car boasts a 60+ year history of industry-leading innovation and design, initially focused on golf cars and expanding to commercial utility vehicles and personal-use transportation.

Requirements

High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
A minimum of one year of Club Car experience or two years of leadership experience.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office programs.
Strong leadership skills.
Safety management mindset.
Problem solving.
Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.

Nice To Haves

College Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall performance of his/her assigned work group/line, including safety, quality, efficiency, and attainment of daily shipping/production schedule.
Proactively supports plant-wide safety programs, including maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Assigns and manages work schedules and assignments with the Area Supervisor.
Ensure all employees have the equipment and supplies needed to perform the jobs in their areas.
Assume responsibility for and take the lead in maintaining housekeeping within the department.
Designate and audits 5S responsibilities.
Ensure that performance metrics are communicated, understood, and met.
Drive continuous improvement through MDI.
Identify opportunities for improvement; implement improvement plans.
Coordinate and lead problem-solving activities for process improvements.
Develop audits and ensure adherence to standard work.
Serves as the primary communication vehicle between management and associates.
Responsible for reviewing staffing needs for the day and flexing labor resources to meet the daily shipping/production schedule.
Provide continuous training to associates to ensure standards are complied with and understood.
Maintains a safe and productive work environment.
Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
