About The Position

Overview Provides supports to the people we serve in community and facility based employment activities. Responsibilities Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, flexibility in schedule, clean driving record and reliable means of transportation. The team leader will be required to be a working leader. Assist the TFM supervisor and/or TFM Coordinator in the daily operations of a facility or location. Assist in managing the porters/porter assistants on duty. Assist in assigning porters/porter assistants job assignments based on their skills. Assist in taking supply inventory and maintaining the supply inventory for their assigned facility. Train new employees on chemicals, safety, proper cleaning strategies as well as the use and maintenance of equipment Ensure a safe working environment for all employees. Ensure that porters/porters’ assistants are adhering to all company policies and procedures. Notify the TFM supervisor and/or TFM coordinator with all complaints and concerns in a timely manner. Assist in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. Provide a high quality-level of service Performs all additional related duties as requested by supervisor and/or administration. Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent and six (6) months of employment experience required. Minimum six (6) months of experience in the field. Floor experience in buffing, stripping, and waxing preferred. Must be a qualified New York State driver. Good verbal and written communication skills and command of the English language required. Ability to interact and communicate safely with porters, porters’ assistants, other staff members as well as keep open lines of communication with supervisors and customers. Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching over head and reaching forward. Must be able to pull, lift and/or carry up to 50lbs.

Requirements
