Being a Team Leader at New Hope of Indiana is more than a job – for many of our team it’s a calling. You and your staff are the key to our success. You will oversee, train, and develop the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) assigned to you. You will collaborate with and respond to questions from our residents, their family, and other internal staff or external partners. You will be an advocate for our residents ensuring their medical, emotional, and safety needs are met. You will maintain our residents' finances and funding. You will collaborate with your DSP staff by writing goals and mentoring them to achieve progress. You will participate in an on-call rotation. You will be responsible for maintaining appropriate shift coverage at your sites. You will collaborate with HR to interview & select, evaluate, and manage the disciplinary process for associates on your team.
