About the position

The Team Leader - Cleaning Crew Supervisor will oversee a team participating in the Better Way Forward rehabilitation program, focusing on mentoring and supporting individuals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the community. This role combines leadership with hands-on tasks, ensuring the success of the team and promoting personal growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of individuals participating in the rehabilitation program.
• Assign daily street cleaning tasks, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead by example by performing cleaning tasks as needed, including hospitality and litter removal, pressure washing, and maintaining public spaces.
• Serve as a mentor and role model, promoting teamwork, accountability, and personal growth.
• Ensure compliance with program guidelines and safety standards.
• Communicate regularly with program leaders and provide updates on progress and challenges.

Requirements

• 2 years of supervising experience
• Driver's License
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience in cleaning or related fields
• Leadership skills
