At aes we are looking for a Team Leader, Solar O&M Responsabilities: Lead and support a team of technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for solar PV, BESS, and substations. Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of AES Clean Energy facilities. Enforce safety standards: stop unsafe work, report incidents, and support regional safety initiatives. Provide day-to-day leadership, performance feedback, and development support to the field team. Coordinate and manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with AES safety and quality standards. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in O&M activities. Support warranty claims with EPCs and equipment vendors. Schedule and support site training, qualifications, and on-call rotations. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of maintenance, safety, and operational activities. Support CMMS usage, inventory tracking, and spare parts management. Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on troubleshooting, plant improvements, and change management. Support construction, commissioning, and handover activities as needed. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and company requirements. Requirements: College degree in a related field is a plus. Proven experience leading technical teams; supervisory experience preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience working with utility-scale electrical systems. Experience in operations and maintenance of utility-scale or C&I solar PV systems; BESS experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures (OSHA, NFPA 70E, LOTO, grounding). Experience with inverters (Power Electronics, SMA, Hitachi), PV tracking and fixed-tilt systems. Ability to troubleshoot AC and DC electrical systems, substations, and related equipment. Comfortable using CMMS, SCADA/DAS systems, and Microsoft Office tools. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals, and procedures. Strong safety mindset and commitment to an incident-free work environment. NFPA 70E and OSHA 30 certifications preferred. Strong communication skills in English and Spanish. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform under pressure. Requirements

  • College degree in a related field is a plus.
