Leads team members by managing and executing plant processes. Manages team members in attaining sanitation, production, and quality goals. Ensures appropriate resources (including materials, equipment, and staffing needs) are available to maintain sanitation schedules. Supports continuous improvement processes to ensure that goals in safety, quality, cost, and customer service are met. Creates and maintains an engaged and team-oriented work force to improve business results. Supervising department setup and tear downs and conduct preoperative inspections. Provide for relief of the supervisor in his/her absence. May be initially assigned to one area of the plant operations but requires the ability to work flexible shift hours and departments in accordance with the needs of management. Requires the ability to take on other such work assignments which include but are not limited to, computer data entry, timecards, work scheduling, Safety and GMP compliance audits, etc. Ensures safety training, procedures and observations are conducted daily for all employees. The position is very hands-on; supervisors are usually in the production area "on-their-feet" about 80% of the shift monitoring and supporting their team with guidance. Position will be focused on administrative responsibilities such as assisting with Master Sanitation schedule, audits, and other administrative duties.
