The position involves planning, organizing, building, training, and monitoring the plant sanitation crew, processes, and methods. The individual will be responsible for executing daily, weekly, and periodic plant-wide cleaning and sanitation activities. They will develop and maintain the plant Master Cleaning Schedule (MCS), the Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs) in accordance with USDA regulations, the Plant Improvement Plan (PIP), and the Environmental Swabbing Program. The role requires collaboration with management for continuous improvement of sanitation processes, conducting periodic plant inspections and audits, and tracking the progress of corrective actions. Additionally, the individual is responsible for reporting any food safety issues that arise.
