Requirements

• Current RN license
• Previous experience preferred
• Demonstrates position communication skills
• Ability to relate to staff in a professional manner
• Must be flexible with scheduling
• Computer experience preferred
• Demonstrates sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs
• Previous experience in a rehab setting preferred
• Must be able to interact well with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Able to exercise sound professional judgment
• Able to respond to emergency

Responsibilities

• Directs and takes responsibility for total care of residents on a team.
• Responsible for implementing interventions designed to achieve the goals and objectives of the resident plan of care.
• All work is performed within a resident-centered framework in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Functions as a role model for staff.
