This position is responsible for assuring that the production processes are defined, measured and controlled.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Must be willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Need to be familiar in SPC, HACCP, GMP'S SSOP'S and USDA
  • Algebra knowledge for proportions
  • Computer skills with Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Responsibilities

  • Assure Process Control Standards meet expectations
  • Monitor testing and development of products
  • Monitors shrink and yield results to identify opportunities
  • Assure compliance with all Safety/Food safety procedures
  • Oversee raw material inspection positions as needed
  • Train hourly team members as needed when developing new processes and products
  • Re-train hourly team members in process control and quality tasks as needed
  • Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
  • Process product using tools and equipment provided
  • Follow all work safety policies and guidelines
  • Observe equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
  • Adhere to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned
