About The Position

If you are seeking an opportunity as a Team Leader, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in Louisville, KY, you will maintain superior customer focus and will be responsible for maintaining daily and/or hourly production expectations as directed by management. In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Functions as team leader to promote production, quality, and job satisfaction Coordinate shop orders for daily activity Assist in the training and/or cross-training in production Work within the established guidelines for performance, attendance, metrics, and safety Provide good communication and timely follow-up to questions Foster team interaction Lead according to 5-S standards and suggest production improvements Suggest improvements in ISO and general production improvements Promote safe operations and adhere to all company safety rules and standards May be required to assist in operator roles to include production or assembly of parts/components/kits Performs other assignments as advised by management or designate Who you are: You are an individual that collaborates, has the ability drive production goals and values differences within a group. For this role you will need: High school diploma or equivalent A minimum of 2 year’s manufacturing and/or distribution experience Willingness and ability to work overtime as required Proven digital literacy / computer skills Must be able to use general purpose hand and power assembly tools Fluent in English (reading and writing) Ability to complete basic math functions (addition/subtraction/multiplication/division) Ability to adapt to change in processes, activities, and/or direction Ability to read and understand production shop orders and instructions Ability to lift 40 pounds intermittently Ability to sit and/or stand daily up to 10 hours per day Ability to defer to management when appropriate Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 year’s manufacturing and/or distribution experience
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime as required
