TEAM LEADER PRODUCT RETURNS (Temporary)
About The Position
Under general supervision, Product Returns Team Leader is responsible for making sure that Product Returns is receiving all merchandise from all locations in the warehouse and storing the merchandise in a proper manner and placing it in the proper area while abiding by all safety guidelines. EXAMPLES OF WORKED PERFORMED: Receive delivery trucks, returns, work orders from the loading dock, inter-store transfers, repossessions, and mattresses; place merchandise in proper area with the correct tag/label; must be able to quickly gain knowledge of merchandise; all merchandise received must be labeled and scanned properly with scan guns to ensure an accurate inventory count; check daily assignments and responsibilities; assemble merchandise; scan merchandise from 7as-is, 8 floor, 9 floor, 9as-is, inspect, and as-is to Red Desk, Deliveries, Inspect, and Cages; reporting any disciplinary issues to immediate supervisor; assisting with training of new employees in the area; ensuring a safe work environment; providing direction to Product Returns; use excellent customer relations with both external and internal customers. Requirements
- Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Must have knowledge of proper scan gun procedures and Storis
- Positive attitude when working with customers
- Knowledge of employment and safety procedures
