Responsible for daily operations of Plant Engineering at designated facility. Responsible for routine and preventative maintenance of all mechanical, electrical and general maintenance equipment.
Coordinates daily activities of Plant Engineering personnel.
Coordinates daily utilization of building automation systems and related equipment.
Responsible for maintaining all required regulatory documentation and participating in document reviews.
Responsible for maintaining all testing and inspection documentation and participating in document reviews.
Responsible for scheduling all Plant Engineering personnel.
Assists in selection and hiring of all Plant Engineering personnel.
Completes annual performance evaluations for designated technicians.
Assists Multi-Site Facility Manager in management of FTE's and budget.
Provides technical support and hands on assistance for technical and critical tasks.
Maintains proper working environment, insures that quality work is being performed by all personnel.
Assists in all areas of maintenance as needed.
Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested.
Local travel required.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Employee must have a valid Tennessee driver's license Class D and state mandated Insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
3 years Mechanical Technician experience with at least 1 year at a supervisory level.
Preference may be given to individuals graduating from a trade or vocational school.
