Mold Bar Team Leader Location: Greenwood, South Carolina 2nd Shift: 9pm - 7am (Monday - Thursday) Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across five continents. Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably supporting precision or mold-related processes.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate others in a production setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to quality and detail.
  • Comfort working with technical equipment, tools, and measurement systems.
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and ethical working practices.
  • Flexibility to work extended shifts or weekends as business needs require.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent experience; technical education is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of manufacturing colleagues, supporting performance, engagement, and development.
  • Coordinate mold bar production and make quality decisions to meet specifications and customer requirements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and experimental projects to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment using approved procedures and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA requirements, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Monitor daily workloads to meet production schedules and shipment commitments.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to support material quality and on-time delivery.
