About The Position

The University branch is looking for a highly motivated and energetic leader to support an exceptional team of Member Consultants. If you have financial institution experience, and value servant-leadership, then we want to hear from you! Your day might include: Leading and supporting Member Consultant staff in the sales, service and operational needs of the branch Coaching and developing employees to support WSECU’s Brand Promise Assisting branch leadership in meeting management routines of coaching, observations, evaluations, and monthly dialogs Working individually with direct reports; demonstrating proactive listening, probing and asking clarifying questions to meet staff needs, developing professional skills and providing constructive feedback for their growth Providing frequent communication to inform and educate employees on current and new initiatives and information Documenting employee performance and attendance, holding staff accountable to meeting our Member Service standards, operational efficiency- including compliance, policy adherence, balancing, and procedural accuracy Promoting innovative ideas, adapting to change and leading others to adapt to changing situations Ensuring branch is staffed at an efficient level to balance service expectations and operating expenses Hiring and promoting branch staff that fulfill the Member Experience Principles Ensuring employees are equipped to meet members’ needs while observing the Credit Union’s Operating Guidelines and Code of Conduct Standards Performing duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act Contributing to your team’s successes and celebrating along the way Having fun!

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of college OR substitute two (2) years of experience with customer service and/or financial institution experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience of branch operations, including at least one (1) year as a Member Consultant or similar role
  • Computer experience; proficiency in Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Must be able to learn, maintain, and pass continuing annual regulatory education requirements
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills: courteous, professional, friendly, warm, empathic, level-headed and composed
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, demanding sales and service culture
  • Must be willing to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, including fingerprinting and a national criminal background check, and maintain and renew the registration annually
