About The Position

The Team Leader position in the Maintenance Department is open to existing employees only. The role requires overseeing the repair and maintenance of machines and equipment related to the packaging of truck parts, as well as facility maintenance. The position operates Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm. The posting period is from October 6, 2025, to October 20, 2025. Requirements

  • Excellent attendance record.
  • Two years college, skilled trades or technical school preferred.
  • Strong leadership, positive attitude, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to problem solve, analyze data/information, and troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues.
  • Intermediate knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, welding, rigging, and machining.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, circuit diagrams, and engineering drawings.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility and work closely with management.
  • Demonstrated record of superior work performance.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State Environmental, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Dedicated to learning lean/continuous improvement concepts and applying them to day-to-day operations.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Repair machines and equipment associated with the packaging of light to heavy duty truck parts.
  • Perform facility repair and maintenance including office equipment, restrooms, kitchen and office areas, lighting, docks, and doors.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance for machines and equipment.
  • Engage in construction and fabrication work.
  • Install mechanical and electrical machines.
  • Implement safety and good housekeeping practices.
  • Maintain frequent contact with others outside the work group.
  • Apply TOS/Lean tools daily to ensure maximum quality and efficiency for the assigned team.
  • Coordinate team member schedules and work assignments for effective use of personnel and equipment.
  • Manage and procure inventory for maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment.
  • Coordinate and supervise construction and maintenance projects.
