About The Position

The Feeding Team Leader supports daily feeding operations by ensuring the accurate and timely picking, preparation, and delivery of parts for production. This role provides coverage as needed, enforces standard work, monitors performance, and manages daily priorities to support safe, efficient, and compliant production operations.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or 2 years of equivalent industry-specific experience
• 1 to 2 years of leadership experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to coach, develop, and support team members
• Ability to communicate production‑impacting issues clearly and promptly
• Strong task prioritization, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and assume team tasks as needed
• Ability to adjust staffing and priorities to maintain production flow
• Powered Industrial Vehicle certification or experience (Train-the-Trainor preferred)
• Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods (8–10 hours per shift)
• Ability to kit parts manually or with mechanical assistance, handling items up to 35 lbs
• Ability to perform all tasks assigned to a Team Member

Responsibilities

• Meet daily productivity targets to support production
• Monitor takt time and team performance to align with production goals
• Enforce SOPs, policies, work standards, and safety requirements
• Audit work for accuracy, efficiency, and compliance; monitor and reduce OS&D
• Safely operate Powered Industrial Vehicles and maintain equipment and housekeeping standards
• Process OEM service parts and customer orders accurately and timely
• Train and certify new team members and provide coverage during absences
• Second shift position, training on first
• Perform other duties as assigned
