About The Position

Lifeways is looking for a Care Team Leader to work alongside our Service Manager in the leadership and day-to-day management of our established Supported Living Services in Lincoln. Requirements

• Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker holding an NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Solid track record as a dedicated Care Assistant or Carer with ambition to progress.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and people supported.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Supported Living Services.
• Knowledge of supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, or mental health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure excellent person-centred care and support is delivered.
• Involved in the recruitment and ongoing development of support workers.
• Carry out staff supervisions and candidate interviews.
• Provide general guidance and expertise to support workers.
• Communicate effectively with staff, people we support, and outside professionals.
• Maintain good written communication and IT skills for record keeping.
