About The Position

Responsible for keeping assigned areas clean, sanitary by scouring, scrubbing, mopping, polishing, using germicidal disinfectants and damp dusting. Performs other duties as listed in Essential Duties and Responsibilities. Keeps work station neat and clean. Learns to use floor care equipment and hand tools as required.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous healthcare and / or institutional Environmental Service experience required
• Must be able to read and write and follow written and oral directions
• Must be able to communicate clearly with other members of the healthcare team, customers, and guests
• Requires judgment and alertness
• The ability to organize time, prioritize, and concentrate
• Must have experience using computers and computer software programs
