The Team Leader, Digital Workforce Technology, will lead the team responsible for shaping how work gets done across the enterprise. This role involves owning the platforms that enable low-code/no-code automation and assistive AI, aiming to help teams build smarter workflows, scale productivity, and deliver a better employee experience. The leader will be responsible for setting the technical direction, establishing governance and guardrails to prevent sprawl, and ensuring the platform runs securely and reliably day-to-day. The position requires close partnership with Security, Enterprise Architecture, and enterprise AI governance leaders to ensure solutions are standardized, scalable, and measurable, thereby driving real productivity gains and appropriate adoption across the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in enterprise platform engineering, automation, or productivity technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, as well as ChatGPT Enterprise or enterprise generative AI platforms.
  • Experience operating enterprise platforms.
  • Formal leadership experience or informal leadership experience typically gained through project management or by coaching/mentoring others by providing guidance and feedback to help employees strengthen their knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to influence and motivate others who are direct reports as well as those from other divisions and departments, including change management, creating a sense of urgency and teachable points of view.
  • Curiosity and drive to stay informed of emerging technology trends and skillsets with the willingness to implement change initiatives and support innovation and creativity.
  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal with ability to adapt communications to various audiences.
  • Ability to think strategically to communicate and accomplish long-range goals.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience implementing governance models for low-code or AI platforms at scale in operational environments involving highly sensitive data.
  • Experience in automation, productivity technologies or enterprise platform engineering.
  • Familiarity with prompt engineering best practices, knowledge grounding and retrieval concepts, and enterprise taxonomy or information architecture design.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team shaping how work gets done across the enterprise.
  • Own the platforms that enable low-code/no-code automation and assistive AI.
  • Set the technical direction, establish the governance and guardrails that prevent sprawl, and ensure the platform runs securely and reliably day-to-day.
  • Partner closely with Security, Enterprise Architecture, and enterprise AI governance leaders to keep solutions standardized, scalable, and measurable.
  • Provide leadership and day-to-day management of financial and human resources, primarily focusing on employee coaching, development, performance improvement, coordination and budgeting for staff and team specific services.
  • Support business objectives and produce results that are effective, accurate, and timely and on target to meet HR team and stakeholder needs.
  • Serve as the accountable technology owner for the low code/no code platforms and assistive technology.
  • Define platform strategy, roadmap, and environment architecture in alignment with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and AI Leadership.
  • Establish clear decision frameworks for platform usage.
  • Design and enforce enterprise governance for low-code/no-code and AI knowledge agent development in partnership with broader enterprise AI governance owners.
  • Prevent agent sprawl by implementing intake and review processes, publishing and approval standards, lifecycle management and retirement processes, ongoing usage and ownership audits.
  • Develop and maintain a structure and classification framework for digital workforce use cases and knowledge agents.
  • Provide Tier 3 support for escalated platform issues in partnership with Service Desk and Desktop Support.
  • Monitor platform health and reliability, usage analytics and licensing utilization, and risk, compliance, and security signals.
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to reduce recurring support volume and improve self-service maturity.
  • Ensure digital workforce tools are integrated clearly into the broader end-user support ecosystem.
  • Embed engineers with product and business teams to build initial knowledge agents and automation patterns, establish reusable solution templates, and transfer skills and ensure sustainable ownership.
  • Define repeatable patterns for knowledge agents, workflow automation, AI-assisted documentation and data workflows.
  • Partner with AI Leadership to align technical guardrails with enterprise AI strategy.
  • Partner closely with AI Leadership (enterprise AI strategy and engineered AI roadmap), HR (skill development and digital literacy), and Organizational Change Management (mobilization and adoption).
  • Provide technical foundation that enables federated upskilling and community-driven innovation.
  • Support the creation of citizen developer communities and digital workforce champions.
  • Ensure federated development operates within centralized guardrails.
