About the position

As a Curbside Express and Home Delivery Team Leader, you will manage a dedicated team to ensure exceptional service for customers utilizing curbside and home delivery options. Your role involves overseeing order fulfillment, collaborating with team members and drivers, and maintaining operational performance while promoting a culture of respect, inclusion, and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members.
• Appraise Team Members' productivity and efficiency for promotions or changes in status.
• Handle Team Member issues, including complaints.
• Discipline Team Members as necessary.
• Plan and distribute work among Team Members.
• Ensure safety and security for Team Members and the store.
• Manage the budget and inventory for the department.
• Monitor compliance measures and implement improvements.
• Provide motivational leadership and set an exemplary example for the team.
• Identify strengths and opportunities within the team for strategic scheduling.
• Develop future leaders and promote an inclusive environment.
• Set and reach sales and profit goals while managing shrink.
• Establish ongoing communication with the team regarding performance and expectations.
• Make innovative plans to improve business operations.
• Review financial and historical reports to enhance performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a grocery store environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least 18 years of age.
