The Team Leader position is essential for overseeing various operational areas within the logistics framework. The role involves ensuring a safe, clean, and productive work environment while providing leadership in quality delivery and customer service. The Team Leader is responsible for ensuring compliance with processes, procedures, and policies, conducting performance management and evaluations, and maintaining equipment and materials. This position also requires active participation in continuous improvement initiatives and effective communication with team members during daily startup meetings and shift handover reporting. The Team Leader must ensure that team members are adequately trained and knowledgeable about their functions, acting as a subject matter expert for processes within the operational control. In addition to overseeing team performance, the Team Leader will maintain records, report key figures and KPIs, and manage time and attendance policies. Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members' performance are crucial to ensuring operational excellence and meeting customer expectations. The position requires daily oversight of hourly employees and involves performing various duties on the operations floor as needed.
