About The Position

The Team Lead at Learning Care Group is a pivotal role within the child care center, responsible for promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children. This position involves leading classroom management, implementing curriculum, mentoring new hires, and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines. The Team Lead plays a crucial role in fostering a positive learning environment and building relationships with families.

Requirements

• Experience in a licensed childcare facility, leading a classroom, and implementing lesson plans.
• College credits towards Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree or a CDA, preferred.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children in care.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensuring classroom instruction is at least 50% of the weekly schedule.
• Communicate and build relationships with families to support child achievement and center success.
• Mentor and assist in the management, training, and mentoring of new hires and fellow teachers.
• Take on the duties of Director or Assistant Director in their absence, including opening and closing the school.
• Ensure daily care of every child by following all licensing guidelines and implementing company standards.
