About The Position

Perform regular 5S and SOP audits to uphold workplace organization and procedural compliance. Ensure daily production rotations and employee breaks are executed per company policy. Work closely with the Production Supervisor to determine staffing schedules and allocate overtime as needed. Facilitate smooth shift transitions by updating the upcoming shift and maintaining clear communication to minimize delays. Must have a High School Diploma, GED (General Education Degree), from an accredited institution. A minimum of 1 year lead production experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. 1 + years experience in a Manufacturing environment preferred. Position Success Criteria: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Demonstrates ability to promote a positive teamwork culture and champion company core values. Demonstrates the ability to accept coaching constructively and interact respectfully with colleagues at all levels. Strong organizational skills with the ability to delegate tasks, plan workflows, and schedule resources effectively. Ability to learn and apply manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures. Ability to understand detailed written and/or oral instructions. Able to read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM), work orders, and scales to ensure accurate production and material usage. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on quality and safety. Flexible and available to work overtime as needed, including daily or weekend shifts based on business demands.
