What You'll Do: The Team Lead is a working leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the production floor while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency targets are met. You’ll support and motivate your team, communicate daily priorities, and keep production running smoothly to meet customer demand. Key responsibilities include: $21.76 per hour + $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience (leadership experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, train, and support others.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to Tosca’s values of integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Service Center leadership in meeting daily production goals related to safety, quality, and throughput.
  • Lead by example in promoting and enforcing all safety standards and procedures.
  • Monitor production rates and quality results to ensure shift targets are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate shift records, including production, shipping, receiving, and quality documentation.
  • Communicate daily updates on production, safety, and company initiatives to your team.
  • Support quality and sanitation programs to ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and Food Safety Management System standards.
  • Train and develop team members, providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager, Maintenance, and other leaders to address operational issues and support site initiatives.
