About The Position

Wells Enterprises has an exciting opportunity to lead our Albertsons sales team. The Team Lead heads all sales for Wells branded products on the Albertsons account, along with managing three of our Business Development Managers. They will be responsible for achieving sales and trade spending objectives in support of strategic growth plans for Albertsons. The Team Lead provides leadership, direction and coaching to team members to achieve sales results, effectively utilize sales process and tools, leverages cross functional team members, and further develops skillset and capabilities. Monitor key customer activities through data, analytics and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • 6+ years of proven Sales experience managing key accounts, managerial experience preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working on the Albertsons account
  • Successfully negotiate to deliver sustainable financial results for Wells and Albertsons.
  • Ability to lead and influence Wells organization on key initiative development.
  • Effectively influence high performing teams as well as grow and develop people.
  • Consistently prioritize and multi-task within a broad scope of responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering sales and financial objectives.
  • Delivers results through successful negotiation and strategic planning with Albertsons.
  • Owns trade plan and branded revenue management.
  • Owns relationship with ice cream buyers at Albertsons.
  • Consistent discussion with buyer on delivering objectives including sales, margin, and in-stocks.
  • Leads quarterly joint business planning meetings and annual innovation preview meetings
  • Strong partnerships and strategic planning with cross-functional partners: Marketing, Shopper Marketing, Revenue Management, Demand Planning, Category Management and Insights.
  • Develop and implement sales strategy for key customers to achieve sales plan and market share objectives.
  • Responsible for leading and coaching BDM on strategic development including: scope and management of agency, maximizing budgeted shopper marketing dollars and partnering with shopper marketing manager to develop and execute holistic plan.
  • Responsible for forecast accuracy, including weekly review with Demand Planning on forecast and trends. Identifies opportunities to close gaps.
  • Prepares and leads monthly business review.
  • Lead and coach indirect partners in Sales Operations to deliver KPI's and monthly objectives.
