About The Position

Reports to Production Supervisor. The Cizzle/Pattern Team Leader has primary responsibility for overseeing multiple production lines, ensuring safety, quality and maximum productivity. Reviews all production standards and assembly drawings for each item to ensure all components match and performs quality checks. Able to multi-task and work a flexible schedule. Must have prior experience leading a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematical computations.
Minimum of two (2) years of packaging or manufacturing experience.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Service oriented and commitment to quality of work.
Good mathematical skills.
Organized and shows strong attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret specification requirements.
Able to effectively multi-task and delegate

Responsibilities

Responsible for enforcing safety and quality standards, good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and adherence to job specifications.
Responsible for reading, comprehending, and explaining job standards, bill of materials (BOMs) and special instructions for jobs.
Train, motivate, guide and assist Production Workers to carry out duties and responsibilities in a safe, standardized, effective and efficient manner.
Communicate and monitor shift productivity standards are met or exceeded.
Perform GL duties during off peak season
Responsible for inspecting production operations to ensure everything used for prior job was properly cleared and that current line set up is correct, with a focus on checking all products and materials that will be used to assemble the job.
Able to quickly troubleshoot issues and keep production moving.
Work in a safe manner. Follow all Metro Supply Chain and customer standards, in addition to Federal, State and Local regulations for occupational safety.
Monitor/maintain equipment for proper operation and report issues to the Supervisor.
Conduct finished goods counts, reconciliations of products and components, and return to inventory.
Responsible for all production documents and records. Assures all records are completed daily and accurately.
Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
Takes an active role in process and performance improvement.
Must be flexible and willing to work additional hours when required, including changing shift start times, OT and weekends.
Other duties as assigned.
