Hobart Brothers LLC—an Illinois Tool Works (ITW) company within the Welding Group—is seeking a Team Lead to support our Kings Chapel operation. This is a great opportunity to step into a high-impact team leadership role within a growing but stable, values-driven organization known worldwide for quality welding consumables. What You’ll Do Lead, coach, and support manufacturing team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production Champion safety, quality, productivity, and 5S initiatives while remaining hands-on with equipment operation and material handling Collaborate with Group Leaders and Production Coordinators to set up shifts and support production schedules across all shifts Operate assigned equipment and support shipping, receiving, and oven operations as needed Troubleshoot drawing and packaging equipment to minimize downtime Train and support team members on route card usage and submit maintenance requisitions when necessary Ensure work instructions and plant procedures are followed consistently, while identifying opportunities for improvement Monitor productivity and downtime using route cards and other tracking tools Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, including ISO 9001:2015 and applicable standards Provide input for operator performance reviews and support employee development Coordinate and support training activities for new hires and internal transfers What You’ll Bring High School Diploma/GED Experience with Packaging and Draw Bench operations, including troubleshooting Proven leadership skills with sound decision-making abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills Mechanical aptitude and comfort using standard computer software and email A positive, team-oriented attitude and customer-focused mindset Interest in long-term career development and growth Desire to continue education Compensation Information: The compensation for this position will be market competitive and driven by the skills and abilities possessed by the chosen candidate. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Experience with Packaging and Draw Bench operations, including troubleshooting
  • Proven leadership skills with sound decision-making abilities
