About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The role involves managing and coordinating a team of warehouse associates to ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus).
  • At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Forklift certification or any other relevant certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet daily operational targets.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound operations, including the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and maintain proper stock levels by conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of orders and the proper handling and storage of goods.
  • Provide ongoing training to warehouse associates to maintain high performance and safety standards.
  • Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations, and enforce safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Address operational challenges, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues to the Warehouse Manager when necessary.
  • Monitor team performance and productivity, providing regular feedback and reports to senior management.
  • Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and operational.
