About The Position

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and guiding the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The role involves managing and coordinating a team of warehouse associates to ensure the efficient, safe, and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus).
At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, with 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods of time.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus.
Forklift certification or any other relevant certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet daily operational targets.
Oversee inbound and outbound operations, including the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
Ensure accurate inventory control and maintain proper stock levels by conducting regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Ensure the accuracy of orders and the proper handling and storage of goods.
Provide ongoing training to warehouse associates to maintain high performance and safety standards.
Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with safety regulations, and enforce safety policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Address operational challenges, resolve discrepancies, and escalate issues to the Warehouse Manager when necessary.
Monitor team performance and productivity, providing regular feedback and reports to senior management.
Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and operational.
