About The Position

We are a concierge dog training and pet sitting business operating in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and New Jersey. We specialize in working with anxious, reactive, and special-needs dogs. Our team consists of trainers and sitters who work as independent contractors with varying schedules. The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing a group of sitters/walkers to ensure high-quality client care and smooth daily operations. This role acts as the first point of contact for team support and helps maintain structure and accountability, while partnering with the Founder and team Assistant to continually strengthen processes.

Requirements

  • Language - English required (Spanish a plus)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented & proactive
  • Strong Communication Skills – written & verbal - comfortable handling client and team interactions.
  • Tech-Savvy – proficient in: Google Suite (Email, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar), Slack (team communication) Scheduling software (e.g., Calendly) CRM & Booking tools (e.g., HoneyBook) Project Management tools (e.g., Asana)
  • 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead/Supervisor (preferably in a service-based business)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Pet Care or Dog Training
  • Remote Team Experience

Responsibilities

  • Main point of contact for the team on a daily basis
  • Available to answer questions & resolve issues when they arise
  • Onboard and train new hires
  • Check in with team on each client daily
  • Make sure each person is prepared for each job and has all required info
  • Ensure job notes are summarized and documented in Honeybook after
  • Consistent communication with Founder for urgent issues, client downloads, overall project & process improvements
