Requirements

  • Demonstrated team leadership skills in current or previous roles.
  • 1 to 2 years of current or recent experience in a manufacturing environment; previous work experience with packaging equipment preferred.
  • Flexibility to rotate to different assignment areas as needed.
  • Basic computer and math skills.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift operation and team-based work experience considered a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and support all operator duties on the assigned packaging line, including setup and teardown.
  • Provide coverage for vacations and absences while coordinating daily staffing and resource planning.
  • Lead or participate in daily production meetings and communicate effectively with processing and support teams.
  • Serve as a key resource for packaging operations, including continuous improvement and housekeeping initiatives.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate operator training and skill development.
  • Close process orders, initiate maintenance work orders, and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
  • Ensure material availability by creating and managing production material requirements to maintain productivity.
