The 1st shift Team Lead in Wax will focus on providing strong operational support and a smooth flow of product throughout the manufacturing process. This role will be responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, upholding quality standards, and driving production efficiency in a fast‑paced setting. This position reports to the Value Stream Manager and is part of the Wax Department located in Richmond, Illinois and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform material handling and production tasks, including blending wax materials (8–44 lbs), cutting and preparing components, pouring and packing parablocks, running bags through the label machine, completing tanker offloads with 30‑lb hoses, and boxing/skidding finished products, while also training associates on proper techniques and safe operating procedures. Maintain an efficient, fast‑paced workflow by completing products approximately every 45 seconds, repeatedly moving materials up to 44 lbs, lifting up to 30 lbs independently, and standing for extended periods (up to 2.5 hours) to support breaks and lunches, ensuring team members are coached to meet pace and quality expectations. Execute labeling and system transactions such as label requests, label check‑ins, and SAP entries to ensure accurate tracking and identification of all products, and guide associates in following correct documentation and labeling processes.
