About The Position

This is a hands-on role as we launch and scale a new team working alongside a leading Marketing Platform provider. You will be a part of the development of a high caliber North America Region Inside Sales Team, responsible for the development and closing of inbound and outbound opportunities. In this role, you will lead, coach, and grow a talented team of budding professionals while exemplifying MarketStar’s and our client’s core values. We are looking to hire a smart, driven leader who is passionate about tech and works best in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in managing or coaching sales reps across technology sector.
  • Personal experience managing full sales cycle or developing new business through prospection.
  • You thrive in a high-energy environment and can be proactive in solving problems in and outside of your area.
  • Excellent presentation and listening skills.
  • Clear and thoughtful communicator with exceptional critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, digital and written communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to building new processes and systems.
  • The ability to streamline and develop workflows to increase the team’s effectiveness.
  • Customer orientated with the ability to motivate others and drive standards of excellence.
  • Self-reliant, adaptable, decisive, and professional; able to effectively multi-task in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and relevant computer software and hardware.
  • You are familiar with Salesforce and are comfortable making data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and mentor a team of sales agents across multiple sales disciplines to a set of targets and KPIs aligned to the expectations of the client and MarketStar.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach while adjusting to client demands and strategies.
  • Gather a strong understanding of client offerings to enable the team effectively across differing North American territories.
  • Continuously increase the effectiveness of the team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes.
  • Create a culture of focus, teamwork, and outstanding performance.
  • Drive strong thought leadership within a wider sales team.
  • Adhere to team goals as agreed by the client.
  • Ownership of day-to-day operations in partnership with client contact.
  • Take responsibility for performance discipline, employee scheduling and attendance, time-card approvals, performance evaluations, and associated management functions
