About The Position

Responsible for overseeing a team of production associates to ensure the safe, efficient and high quality manufacturing processes in the automotive plant. Leading daily operations, driving performance metrics, ensuring adherence to standard operating produces and fostering a positive team culture aligned with organizational roles. Lead and motivate a team of production associates to meet daily production targets. Conduct team huddles, assigns tasks, and monitor performance and attendance. Serve as a liaison between team members and management, escalating issues as necessary. Oversee manufacturing processes on the shop floor to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety and quality standards. Monitor production schedules and adjust assignments to meet operational goals. Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting minor equipment issues. Ensure team adherence to all company safety policies, 5S, and OSHA requirements. Report any safety concerns or incidents immediately and participate in investigations and corrective actions. Support quality assurance by performing visual inspections and audits. Ensure nonconforming parts are identified, segregated, and reported per procedure. Train new team members on processes, equipment, safety, and quality expectations. Provide coaching and feedback to enhance performance and support skill development.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing environment, automotive industry experience highly preferred
  • Prior Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience with RF Scanner
  • Microsoft Office
