About The Position
BLOCK BY BLOCK is dedicated to enhancing communities through hospitality, cleanliness, safety, and outreach programs that foster growth in business districts. The Team Lead plays a crucial role in supervising the Downtown Ambassadors, ensuring that they adhere to Block by Block's standards and policies while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a proactive leader who can make sound decisions and lead by example. The Team Lead will manage shift duties, conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and ensure that all operations are conducted in a professional manner. The role also involves reporting on various issues such as broken infrastructure and graffiti, and providing guidance to team members. The ideal candidate must maintain a positive and professional environment, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and possess the physical ability to work outdoors in various conditions for extended periods. Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office is essential for creating reports and communicating effectively with team members and management.
