Team Lead - Wiring
About The Position
As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for engaging employees in the functions of production, coordinating activities in expediting the flow of material, parts, and assemblies between areas of production. Job Description Manage the assigned area ensuring that safety, quality, production, cost control and & continuous improvement objectives are met while providing technical support and training to employees working in the assigned production areas. • Oversee and implement Lean initiatives in the responsible areas • Deliver on-time completion of product produced in the assigned assembly areas • Ensure that all material used in the assembly of a job is appropriately charged to the correct job • Foster and build strong relationships within workforce in assigned area • Maintains a clean and well-organized work area at all times. • Oversees quality inspection of the product before is released to the next department. • Reviews daily shortage reports and provides feedback to the supervisor on potential upcoming parts shortages • Fills in for production as needed in assembly process • Provides cross functionality & helps handling the other product coordinator’s tasks • Communicating weekly reviews with the supervisor • Performs other duties as assigned Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority and we take our responsibility seriously. Requirements
- GED or High School Diploma with a minimum of three (3) years of machine operating experience a/o assembly in a manufacturing or production environment
Responsibilities
- Engaging employees in the functions of production
