Job Description Summary: This position is directly responsible for all employee scheduling and ensuring daily stocking assignments are completed. Overseeing warehousing operations and supply room projects. Must resolve supply issues that cannot be resolved by the Distribution Tech I. Sunday - Thursday, 4:30am - 1pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience
Must be able to perform basic math functions and computer skills.
Must be able to understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions.
Must be able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and written.
3 or more years of related experience.
Maintains confidentiality of log-on password(s) and security of other authentication devices (e.g., key fobs, proximity devices, etc.).
Ensures privacy and security of information entrusted to their care.
Uses company business assets and information resources for management-approved purposes only.
Adheres to all information privacy and security policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Promptly reports information security incidents to the OhioHealth Information Security Officer.
High School or GED (Required)
One to three months related Experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of and Experience .
Familiar with spreadsheets, databases, and word processor software applications.
Power lift/transportation equipment training.
six months to one year of Leadership Experience
six months to one year Medical/Supply/Warehouse/Distribution Experience

Responsibilities

Monitor employee compliance with the scheduled work hours, dress code, and break times.
Monitors associate actions to verify they are performing assigned tasks appropriately per instruction of department leadership, provides training and coaching when appropriate.
Assist with breakdown and staging of appropriate product according to designated schedule.
Respond to phone and vocera requests and provide consistent customer service to all service areas.
Assist with running/reporting daily huddle, share development of special products and any recent and/or upcoming operational changes that may affect supply techs or any other associated team members' work process.
Will hold/lead status meetings to review productivity/quality standings and to develop ongoing special projects with team members and any associated parties.

Provide performance coaching and instruction to supply chain team members where appropriate.

Deliver supplies to the designated areas, perform equipment rounds (if applicable).
Assist with maintaining inventory, expiration date checks, product rotation, and replenishment of Supply & Distribution specialty carts.
Respond to phone and vocera requests; Provide consistent customer service to all service areas
Must assume the role of the Supply Tech (or other coverage as needed) when needed.
Where applicable: Provide oversite and guidance on the management of surgical supplies (consignment, implants prosthetics, tissue, bone, specialty supplies) to ensure adequate stock and compliance with legal, regulatory, guidance documents, and accreditation standards.
Assist with leading/reporting daily huddle, share development of special products and any recent and/or upcoming operational changes that may affect supply techs or any other associated team members' work process.
Will hold/lead status meetings to review productivity/quality standings and to develop ongoing special projects with team members and any associated parties.
Must provide the manager with updates on the following activities: Employee attendance Quality audits Performance audits Customer satisfaction monitoring
Provides any cross-shift-status information to the other Team Leaders (where appropriate).
Must perform routine, random audits on the Distribution Techs. resolve issues regarding the cleanliness and the proper functioning and handling of any equipment or technology used on his/her shift; ensure that communication is properly routed to all employees for whom the Team Leader is responsible, including but not limited to the use of routing sheets, bulletin/huddle boards, etc.
Escalate any findings to department leadership through chain of command.
Must address issues for all employees on his/her shift and provide coaching when necessary and at direction of department leadership
Assist Department Leadership with handling customer complaints, and, as a number one priority, follow up on the resolution of such complaints and account for the compliant as an associated Customer Satisfaction rating for the responsible employee.
Must solicit a customer evaluation/response, according to the manager's specifications, which will be used as a measurement of customer satisfaction.
Address issues and escalate any concerns they are not able to resolve which would prevent all assigned work for the employees under the Team Leader from being completed successfully, regardless of whether the immediate responsibility falls on the Supply Tech
Assist with planning, designing, and implementing new processes that enhance quality, increase performance, and decrease the costs of Supply & Distribution.
