Job Title: Team Lead – Supply Chain Location: South Chesterfield, VA What we’re looking for: We are looking for a Team Lead who will be responsible to lead a small supply chain team to serve as the central point of contact between two internal production sites, balancing workloads and logistics to prevent bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and directing a small supply chain team to meet deadlines.
  • Develop comprehensive timelines and schedules specifically for high-priority customer orders.
  • Oversee physical line setups in the old DC, ensuring equipment and workspaces are implemented and optimized.
  • Conduct real-time validation of component availability.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential shortages before they impact Shipment to customer.
  • Monitor external vendor progress daily to ensure sub-assemblies or raw materials arrive on schedule.
  • Provide proactive status updates, risk assessments, and recovery plans to the customer and internal account management teams.
  • Verify that all production stages meet customer-specific quality standards and safety regulations
  • Assure that hourly performance boards are maintained with input and variance causes, inclusive of all visual display boards.
  • Participate with manufacturing engineering in assuring on time delivery to customers or other departments (internal customers) through Kaizen processes.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems using PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) process.
  • Implement and sustain Standard work procedures and practices as a key activity---also sustain Visual Boards and Controls.
  • Performs activities of workers in group as a backup only.
  • All other duties assigned
