About The Position

Catalent’s Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses. The site provides a range of integrated services for oral solid dosage forms, from formulation development and analytical testing to clinical and commercial-scale manufacture. The Kansas City facility is a Center-of-Excellence for our Biologics Analytical Services business. Our talented team has over 25 years of experience providing analytical services for stand-alone and integrated biologics projects. Catalent Pharma Solutions in Kansas City, MO is hiring for Team Lead, Storage. The Team Lead, GMP Storage role is responsible for overseeing daily operations of GMP storage facilities, ensuring full compliance with cGMP requirements while leading a team to safely manage, safeguard, and accurately track all GMP materials from receipt through finished goods completion. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GMP Storage processes and assist with warehouse staff development.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is required
  • Two or more years prior experience operating as a Lead or Supervisor in a Manufacturing, Warehouse, Distribution or Logistics operations environment is preferred
  • Two years’ experience in Supply Chain Inventory Control and Materials Handling in a Pharmaceutical or regulated environment is preferred
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the identification and improvement of Safety Concerns (as assigned) for shift operation
  • Responsible for the reaction, investigation and improvement of Safety Events (as assigned) for shift operation
  • Safe operation and group compliance of electric forklift and related equipment and training
  • Clear understanding of related SOPs and cGMPs as necessary to accomplish daily tasks in the Warehouse, Inventory Control and Material Handling
  • Effectively drive the overall training compliance, including GMP, HR and Safety training (Compliance Wire)
  • Responsible for the overall quality of output produced by the operation
  • Assistance with investigations (Discrepancies, Deviations and Complaints) as well as CAPA identification and closure
  • Coordinate and perform periodic cycle count to ensure accurate inventory levels
  • Supervise daily activities to meet on time delivery to internal and external clients for the movement of materials, internally and externally, incoming and outgoing, physically and within inventory systems
  • Coordinate, communicate, plan and integrate between the Storage and Receiving groups and other departments
  • All other duties as assigned
