This position is located in our Richmond, VA office and offers a schedule of Monday-Thursday in office and Friday remote.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in web development and database technologies
  • 3+ years’ experience building large distributed, API-driven systems
  • Strong understanding of OOP and software design patterns
  • Experience using JavaScript, C#, SQL Server, and AWS technologies
  • Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Document Data Systems (Dynamo, OpenSearch) a plus.
  • Comfortable working across the stack with Node.js on the server-side
  • Experience with AWS S3, Lambda, SQS, Kafka, Redis a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration a plus.
  • Experience working on a SOX compliant team a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software developers in building applications and platforms using modern Typescript, React, HTML, .NET Core, SQL Server, and AWS technologies.
  • Apply sound quality management methods, tools and techniques to create and support defect-free application software that meets the needs of the organization.
  • Take complete ownership of product launch activities and coordinate closely with DevOps to monitor application performance and availability.
  • Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices that can be leveraged to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and develop practices.
