About The Position

The Team Lead, Shuttle Operations Supervisor, supports the Operations Management team in achieving departmental goals and ensuring the efficient daily operation of Epic Mountain Express at our Edwards, CO location. This role combines leadership, logistics coordination, and guest service excellence to maintain smooth operations and uphold EME's safety, compliance, and service standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong background in logistics, dispatching, and operational coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vehicle departures and ensure timely execution.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • At least 21 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with DOT compliance and commercial vehicle operations is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Management Team in achieving departmental goals and operational efficiency.
  • Dispatch EME vehicles to ensure consistent, on-time service delivery.
  • Supervise daily operations, supporting both drivers and dispatchers.
  • Provide input to management regarding driver performance and assist with performance management activities.
  • Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and training of Guest Service Drivers and Dispatchers.
  • Support employee coaching and progressive discipline processes.
  • Assist with guest service recovery, including Lost & Found, guest incidents, and Rate My Ride feedback.
  • Promote employee engagement and team morale by supporting EME and Vail Resorts HR initiatives.
  • Support and enforce all EME Motor Vehicle Safety and compliance programs.
  • Coordinate with the Fleet Department to ensure proper vehicle allocation and maintenance.
  • Ensure adherence to all USDOT and PUC regulations related to commercial motor vehicle operations.
  • Enter and assist with follow-up on Workers' Compensation and vehicle incident reports.
  • Maintain flexibility to support 24-hour operations, including weekends, holidays, and variable shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
